Taking a trip away from home with the kids helpppp? |
Hi all i am getting ready to visit my family in maine which is 4 hours away from home i am taking my two children with me and have never taken them on a long trip away from home before i have made a list of things to pack for them but im feeling like im forgetting something or maybe even over packing. can u tell me if this is too much for a weekend away we are driving up friday and leaving sunday night. i have also given a little info about them as well to help with the list please tell me if im missing anything? or is this good? thank you soo much! Ive learned at least make sure you have everything for a night or two.. or things you know you couldnt go buy... because most things, if you HONESTLY forget them, you could eaily just run to the local store in maine and buy it if worse came to worse. Sounds to me like you've got it covered. you might want to check the weather before you head out so that you are not packing too many clothes- plus it's easier to not lose the clothes you packed that way. I think you have everything just about covered. Looks like you have everything you need. You might want to bring some bottled water. You may want to take GasX baby infant drops, a stroller if you will be going out, sunscreen and hats. It sounds like you have most of everything though. Also, there will be stores around for any other over the counter medicine you may need and anything you forget. Since you are visiting with relatives they will also have extras that you may forget. sounds good to me. maybe a stroller and a carrier for the baby, like the baby bjorn in you have one. sunscreen if you might be outside. hats. most of all, dont worry to much, since you are visiting family they will have stuff that you might have forgotten, or it will be easy to run out and get it! have fun! |
