Can you order online stuff with a prepaid credit card?

hello i want to order something that are online such as camera accessories (sd cards, lenses) and im 16 so i dont have a credit card so i was wondering if it is possible to order stuff online with a prepaid credit card. Im a total noob about this so please provide details! lol

how does it work? just go to my local cvs, target, rite aid and buy a prepaid credit card and put money in it thenn it works as a regular debit card and i can type in the credit card info when im purchasing a product online?

is it a one time thing (i want it to be) or do i have to put money in it every month?

do i have to get a papypal account to order things online?

if iu would have to get a paypal account can i apply with a debit card?

3.If you apply a paypal account and wanna verify with your prepaid credit card.It depends which pre-paid credit card you use.Many kind of pre-paid credit card cannt be used for paypal,just like Walmart gift card,American express prepaid card etc.But some others can.

some sites only use paypal for their payment method, and that's the only reason you would have to sign up. I personally do not like paypal, it is not easy to register and I feel my information is compromised.

I was in your exact shoes a year ago. Turns out, my prepaid visa did NOT work online where I wanted to buy something (a Flickr pro account).

What I did was set up a bank account with my dad. My bank has no minimum balance and no monthly or yearly fees. Consider this option rather than guessing. You'll have access to your money by the next day after you set up your account, and setting up an account doesn't take more than 30 minutes. You'll get a debit card, if your bank offers them, within 2 weeks (most likely)

prepaid debit cards charge $5-10 each month, plus other fees. Seriously.
