Extremists are also exploiting the economic crisis, spreading propaganda that blames minorities and immigrants for the subprime mortgage meltdown. Tough economic times historically provide fertile ground for extremist movements.

We Americans are getting the true facts from these organizations, when will you give up your bull on promoting illegals and racism. SPLC is a racist organization and morris dees is anything but a promoter of less racism. Why do you believe these pro-illegal sites instead of the facts brought out by american citizens. Alipac may have members who belong to other groups, but that does not make them a racist organization. How interesting - today we have an economic crisis but most days greasy says the economy is great because of the the illegal scab workers.

Everybody knows that the government was responsible for the subprime mortgage crisis. The illegal that was suckered into thinking he could own a nice house only exacerbated the problem. He didn't cause it.

We can sure bet we won't get "factual" information from you, especially when you persist in quoting the very biased and disreputable SPLC.

And why did the government push subprime mortgages? Because ethnic identity groups such as LaRaza and the Hispanic Caucus wanted to see more "minorities" get housing that they couldn't really afford or qualify for if they used traditional mortgages and lobbied for it.
They got what they wanted, if not in the way they wanted it.

I personally can't think of anything more "extreme" than groups such as LaRaza which effectively want the disappearance of the U.S. border and therefore the U.S. as a country. Fits right in with comments such as those by former Mexican President Fox about wanting a "union" of Mexico and the U.S. which would subvert our national sovereignty.

#2 The sub-prime mortgage crisis was caused by the BANKS. Not greedily illegals. The banks thought it was a great way to make money. They make loans to people they knew were a risk, thinking that even when they defaulted they would have the down payment they made plus the payments they had made thus far. Then they thought they could turn around and sell the houses again and start the cycle all over again. If you people want to blame someone for this financial mess, start with the banking industry, then look towards your own government, who under Bush, decided to deregulate the banks. Don't point fingers where they are not due.

A minority is not an illegal immigrant; I am pro-minority and anti-illegal immigrants regardless of their ethnic background. Many other Americans feel the same as I do so please drop the racist argument as the fact remains that illegals economically drain to our social structures.

greasy T i read 3 years ago the hate groups like the kkk is on the rise again. those groups will back up alipac. one more thing alipac is for legal immigration and against illegals. they don't care what race they are. the kkk is growing and we can only thank the illegals for this. that is one group i wish would just die away. i blame illegals for not educating their selfs better then what they are, the illegal parent brings their kids here and when those kids grow up they form or join gangs. my main concern in all of this is illegals do not pay taxes, their kids are in gangs, like ms-13, triniti and god knows what other gangs. they are walking around with macheties. these are not people they are animals. i understand illegals (some) are here to have a better life. but the ones who are not need to go. i also feel the police should have the right to gun down all gang members no matter where they come from. gangs and illegals are part of the reason i left chicago, ill. we the people need to take back our country.
