Please! Please! I need help on information on school loans!!?

I am 30 yrs old, married, and we have a six year old together. I have put off going to cosmetology school for too long....Now that this economy has gotten so much worse, I am having a hard time finding a job...Not to mention pay bills only on my husbands income is even harder. I found a school I want to go to and it's only 9-10 months long. Since they are a new school, they are still trying to get approved for financial aid...hopefully to get it by the first of the year.
my hours in school would be prefect....I will be in class while my son is in school. But I need to know how on earth I am going to pay bills while I am in school. I could go part time, but it would take up to 18 months to finish...And I would rather get it over with so that I can start working. Everyone keeps telling me there are so many loans and grants out there for every persons situation...But I have no where to look. My husband works resteraunt hours, so he's hardly ever home, so I am the soul guardian of our son. I need to make some sort of money to help towards bills so that we don't get behind and end up losing our home and end up on the streets. Please Please I need some advise.
Thank You!

Suddenly Human is right about FAFSA. That is the number one way to get grants and financial aid loans for higher education.

I work specifically with beauty schools, too, and I know many accredited and non-accredited schools can offer financial aid in the form of loans, scholarships and grants. Check out the links I listed below for access to scholarships and grant information for cosmetology school. I hope you find it helpful!

It IS possible - and you CAN do this! Going back to school and developing a trade is such a great idea in this economy. US News & World Report actually said that cosmetology and hairdressing careers are some of the fastest growing in 2009.

Hello I am Herold Whitney I live in ALAMABA USA I saw your question and I decide to give you advise because is not easy getting a loan online there are scam who pretend to be lender but they are not, some time a go I needed money to buy a car and I decide to apply online but just can found one but someone answer my question on yahoo answer and directed me to corporatefinanceloan@yahoo.com then I decide to give them a try to my greatest surprise I was give the loan with 4% interest rate and monthly installation repayment,I will advise you contact them and smile home

Do not attend a school that is not yet approved to accept federal financial aid. It is a very long process for a school to get approved (YEARS) and you have no guarantee when (or if) they will actually ever get approved. (Not everyone does).

There are plenty of cosmetology schools out there who ARE approved for financial aid. If you attend a local state funded (non-profit) Vocational school your tuition will be about a 10th of the cost of what you would pay at that for-profit school.

Apply for federal financial aid at http://fafsa.ed.gov
This is a book explaining the different kinds of federal aid you are applying for and even gives the max amounts.
