Cryptologic Linguist/Arabic US Army/Specific Information? |
Hello, Heavy, Sorry - yes, a DUI will make it hard to get a clearance, particularly a recent one like that. You may be able to get a waiver, but the best bet is to talk to a recruiter, and be honest. Talk to a recruiter about your DUI. My recruiter told me that two DUIs are permanently disqualifying, but one is not. With one DUI, you can still get into the Army, but you might not be able to get a clearance, which would keep you from getting the linguist job. |
