How can I prevent my parked car from being hit?

I have a sports car with painted bumpers and I keep gettig hit by people while parked in front of my small 3 story building where my apartment is in the rear. The spaces are parallel to the curb so cars park in front and in the rear.

Basically not only do people use hitting my bumper as a parking aid, they also don't even take thier time doing it, so they hit it pretty hard. Esentially they have no respect whatsoever for my property that I've worked so hard to purchase.

There has got to be a way to fight back. What can I do? Is there...

A fiesable way to physically prevent the cars from hitting me?

Alarms that has parking safety feature that warns bad parkers away?

Parking aid for OTHER drivers? It beeps louder and louder and maybe flashes light to tell the driver when to stop?

Interior cameras that won't kill my battery?

Tell me what my options are IF I CANNOT park elsewhere. Please provide me with effective solutions. Prevention is better as you have to consider retaliation.

you need to move

Install a motion detecting burgular alarm. They`re inexpensive and easy to install. When the car is disturbed a loud annoying siren and beeping alam will sound causing embarassment to the person ramming your car, hopefully.

park away from the building where it is less car so your car will not be hit

bolt your car onto a sherman tank

If the parking place is a long line and the cars are parked in line with eachother you should take the first parking spot so that others will park behind you. If your car is in front of them they will see it and not hit it.

Get a camera that uses a seperate battery in the trunk.Put a battery isolater on it so it will not drain the cranking battery, but the alternator will charge the engine and camera battery when vehicle is running. You will have positive proof then to give the police.

It鈥檚 just a car, and its just bumpers on a car.

Why don鈥檛 you donate your extra money to a charity instead of selfishly spending it all on a sports car that you don鈥檛 need and are now bitching about people touching?

Or, you can put a towel or something over the bumpers to prevent the paint from coming off.
