How can pro abortion people justify the murder of a human life?

Hi its lunch now and Im in the school library (its the only place where they have the wireless) cranking out another question on my laptop on yahoo answers while violating the rules about eating in the library (lol). Anyway we just finished an assembly where the subject was various services offered by the school, counseling, aids prevention counseling, etc. The school social worker spoke about abortions and family planning clinics and how she would help any girl who came to her with that issue. I became enraged and almost spoke out loud but held myself. I think that the ripping of a human life out of its mother is MURDER period. I personally struggle with my "hormones" constantly and have a boy friend who does the same. My parents and his mom still allow us to be friendly because hes such a greaaat guy and hes soooo drop dead good looking too but if we went too far I would NEVER abort his baby. I plan to remain a virgin and I want my boy to stay innocent.

I dont know who to choose for best answer so im going to let this question go to voting. I am a little upset about one person thinking I cant control my feelings towards my boy friend. Its NOT true. And im not too young to like him.

How can anti-abortion people refuse to provide food and shelter to every living person?

How can "pro-life" justify abortion only when it is the result of rape or incest? Is that not a human life also, or does it cross the line of convenience/social acceptance for society and the mother?

Unfortunately, many do not see an unborn fetus as living. As sick and disgusting as that may sound, it's true. Many feel that abortion is an "easy way out" and do not stop to think what they are really doing. If they really stopped and thought about it, then they would have to figure out what to do with the child after it was born and they are just too lazy to do so. People are sick!

Good for you, I completely agree. I don't see how it is in any way justifiable. We all make mistakes, but it's our mistake, not an innocent baby's. Plus, with all the resources available for anonymous adoptions, there is no excuse. There was a question posted on here a while back, that said a girl was considering an abortion, and adoption wasn't an option because she couldn't stand to hear her baby cry, then give it up. How warped is that? You can't stand to be parted with the baby, but you can kill it. People need to get there priorities straight.

And to Scoobyd3, you think that life begins when they can live life unaided? So people on respirators should all be killed?

I do not approve of the murder of human beings. I also do not believe that this issue will ever be settled by passing a law on it and I do not believe it is ever going to be settled by the shrill voices of the fringe (either side). Many of those you might become enraged with have an honest and deep belief that the fetus is not a life yet. I may disagree with them but their belief is still honestly held. Avoiding people with different beliefs and becoming enraged does not change hearts and minds, it builds walls. Consensus is rarely reached over a wall.

There are many ways to look at this. I wouldn't go for an abortion, because I would do everything possible to give my child everything I can, but some people are just not in a position to do that and maybe its a 13 year old girl who can't support her child and her parents won't help, of course she could have the baby and give it up for adoption, but a lot of those kids grow up hurt, they get hurt in the families they get placed in and its just a very hard decision for a mother or anyone to make. I believe that each person has the right to make that choice on their own.

You sound very young and naive. People have reasons for why they do those type of things. You have every right to have your opinion but talk to a young girl who has been molested by an uncle or father and now carrying a child. Think about the woman rapped in an alley. Think about the mother of 4 who made a mistake and can't afford to have a another child. Think about woman on birth control that just so happened to get pregnant. The truth is I applaude you for your thoughts but I invite you to keep an open mind. I do not support those who use this as a form of birth control but I do believe that everyone makes mistakes and that everyone deserves a second chance in life.

You are entitled to your opinion. Others are equally entitled to theirs. While you may or may not agree with the current laws of the land, some people have to deal with the reality of not having the ability to quit their jobs or to quit school in order to take care of a baby. There are extremely poor people out there who can barely afford an abortion, much less 18 years of supporting another person. They cannot afford to pay an OBGYN, a daycare, or any of the other things involved with having a baby. Admittedly, they should have kept their legs crossed, but sometimes girls are not in a convenient position the way you are and wind up doing things they really don't want to do anyway. That's the cold hard truth of the matter. Back when women did not have the ability to legally get an abortion, they got back alley abortions or did the job with a coathanger. Many died a painful death. Until life is more fair toward the people that exist in the world already, perhaps it would be wise for you to stop yelling MURDER all over the place.

If somehow you wound up getting pregnant, you suggest you would keep your baby. Good for you. And good for your parents. I'm sure it's the parents who would wind up paying, paying, and paying again in the multitude of forms that parents usually pay, except for one thing -- they wouldn't be the parents, they would be the grandparents, and you would be renieging on your responsibities as most naive young girls who say such silly things do.

I'm glad you feel that if you accidentally got pregnant you would keep your child.. I and every other adopted child out there thanks you too... Even though our parents couldn't support us, they gave us the opportunity at a life, instead of ending up in medical waste.

Abortion is a tough issue.... There are people out there who seem to have no problem with it.. but I think deep down it's a struggle for them...
It's an option for women.. some people might not like that option but it's still an option.. And even if you feel its murder, that's not going to stop abortions and people still need support with that issue..

Some idiots got into their mind that women are allowed to kill their children because children grow in their bodies and they are allowed to do whatever they want to themselves. GROW UP!!! You have the responsibility as a women to know that babies grow inside of you and sex causes babies. If you dont want a baby, dont have sex, period. If you have a baby and you didnt want it, give it up for adoption. Too many people think abortion is a last resort to birth control. Why dont you mind your own business and not have abortions and go about your own life, who do you think you are to be able to tell someone else what they should do? Obviously rules dont apply to you in the library so why do you think your rules should be applied to others?

I disagree with your choice of terms "pro abortion"? I don't know any one who is Pro-abortion (advocating for all pregnant woman to have an abortion) No. I am Pro-Choice I think people have a right to make decisions about their body. I am not self-righteous enough to say that every one should live like me (I would never have an abortion and the only man I have ever slept with is one I will spend my entire life with) I realize that not every women is in the same situation -- some are abused (emotionally, physically, and sexually) they need a "Choice". Or to put it another way it would be like me saying "Anti-Woman's rights" rather than "Pro-Life. These two things are completely different.

First off, there is no such thing as "pro abortion." I challenge you to find one sane person who *wants* pregnant women to run out and have abortions. The term is "pro choice," which means that you support a woman's right to make the decision that's right for her, her body and her fetus.

It's very easy to try to paint this issue as a black & white, right or wrong issue, but there are all sorts of grey.

Have you considered what you would do if you were raped and became pregnant with your rapist's child? Would you honestly be able to look at that child and be reminded of that brutalization and violation every day for the rest of your life?

What if you were on birth control, had gotten immunizations for traveling abroad and then found out the birth control had failed, you were pregnant and your child was probably going to have severe, crippling birth defects if you carried him/her to term? (That was an actual situation faced by a patient my friend treated at Planned Parenthood.)

And even if you would be okay with keeping the fetus under the above circumstances, what gives you the right to make that kind of life-altering decision for every other woman in America?

I've been pregnant TWICE...one ended with my water breaking at five months. That one I had to 'abort' for health reasons on both the fetus's and my accounts. The second one was a tubal pregnancy that burst and had to be removed or I would have bled to death!!!

I agree with you that abortion is murder. I could never imginage myself aborting my child. but the people who are for abortion justify it by saying it is the right of a women to make that choice esp. in cases of rape and if it risks the life of the mother. It is pure and simple it is murder of an innocent life who did not ask to be created.

While checking out your other questions that you have asked on this site, I had a feeling that you were young but I didn't think you were only 13 !So I cannot justify answering this question especially when a 13 year old asks it.Good luck with your "hormone struggle, because some of the questions that you asked on Yahoo Answers ie. "rubbing yourself on the bedpost" and "massaging your special guy, wanting to rip his clothes off" here are outrageous for a 13 yr old. Sounds like you may lose the struggle.

It is nice to see that you understand something that many people so much older than you still don't. But being aware an abortion is a murder and being against it doesn't mean you cannot have sex if you don't plan to have children at that moment. You should just protect yourself in a proper way. I advise you to go to your doctor and talk about it when the time comes. But you seem to be so young that I believe your time hasn't come yet.

Actually i don't consider my self only pro abortion. I would say that I am pro choice. That ultimately means that I believe in having children, adoption, and abortion when the right circumstances call for it but only as a last resort. Being pro choice doesn't mean that we believe that woman should get a abortion just to get a, get out of jail free card. What about incest, rape, or a instance where the mother could die from the result of having the child, and that would leave her other children without a mother. I definitely do not believe woman should use abortion as a birth control method, or if they find out the child might be developmentally challenged. I also don't believe a abortion should be performed after the first trimester because they have allowed the fetus to develop to far along. However, some people do not always look at the beginning of life from the point of conception because at that point there is not a heart beat. Religious people see this issue much differently and your belief is much respected however, it is not for u to judge the decisions of others that is up to god to do, and if he could forgive them then why cant u. just because a person makes a decision u don't understand or agree with doesn't mean that u should treat them differently how would u want to be treated. I'm sure you would want your privacy not to be invaded.

well dear its like this : not all baby's are wanted such as women that are raped or touched in the wrong way by a parent that causes a life . so that is why i think it can and should be used other then that i don't think it should be used as a form of birth control .
