Interesting question! I'm a "liberal Republican", which basically means I'm screwed on election day. But, if I had to choose it would definitely be preventing global warming. That sounds strange coming from me, because I'm not sure if I believe global warming even exists. It's safe to say however, that I want us to become less dependent on foreign oil. Personally, I wish we could make cars that would run on solar energy, but I don't see that happening anytime soon.

if we're taking money from something i suggest we divert funds from the largest and most atrocious source. war. a fraction of that money could double spending on both projects.

if we had clear consensus on warming that would be the greater threat. i'm more concerned about aids cures or vaccines rather than prevention campaigns. especially abstinence programs, cause i just don't see that happening, not for adults or teens.

2. Your question is a logical fallacy, we can do some of both. In fact if the US was not wasting its money on the Iraq War it could do a lot of spending on issues that actually matter including AIDS and Global Warming.

If we withdrawal from Iraq, we could fund both.

They are both large problems that will require large amounts of time and money. Both need to be addressed, and soon.

It doesn't matter where the money goes, as long as it's being taken away from those who have it.

All you conservatives have a weird way of looking at the world.Since Bush has cut much of the money earmarked for Aids and deregulated many things put in place to stop the polluting of our air and water to fight a war for oil. Don't you think that is a hypocritical question? It should have said, Conservatives would you rather fund a war for oil or spend money on Aids Prevention and Global Warming?

Aids is a man created virus created by scientists working on behalf of the globalist in order to exterminate certain groups of people. If they can create the virus, they can create the cure. The question is not so much in finding a cure, but whether or not they will allow a cure! LZ
