Boarding School?

Well, im in seventh grade.
I have been researching schools. And i want to apply to Andover. I have good grades.
we dont really make that much, since its just him that brings in money. we could get financial aid and scholarships.
how can i convince him to let me apply for ninth grade?
from what i understand, it will improve my education and better my chances for getting into a better collage.
any help?

Congratulations on wanting to do something about your education. That is great.

I suggest that you make your own research about Financial Aid and Scholarship, that you contact all the organizations that could help you and that you ask them for pamphlets and ways to handle it. It would help if you knew how much money your family makes. Assuming "he" has a good credit rating, of course.

Then, you bring the results to "him" (your dad? step-dad or whatever).

In the process, you will probably find out if it is really possible or not. If possible, "he" will have the proof and will probably be impressed with the way you handled it. I would.

It always seems more credible when it comes from an outside source.
