To what extent has the Asian economy aided the Amrcn economy to develop and grow after Asia opened up to trade

I have a project to do but I have no clue where to start with my research. I would really appreciate it if someone could give me some info to what to reserach.

you may want to start after the 2nd world war. Most countries in Asia back then were considere 3rd world.

Compare Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, to the USA.
Find out the different Trade Agreements, Bilateral trade Agreement and treaties that involves USA. YOu would be able to track how the American economy evolved and who among the Asian countries were gobbling up whatever US was throwing at 'em.
