Is there genocide happening in Darfur, Sudan?

The claims of genocide arise from the situation affecting the African Sudanese who are being murdered by Arab militia groups. According to witness reports, the militia men come into the farming villages and attack, murder, rape and rob the people there. The most up-to-date research estimates that more than 200,000 African Sudanese have been killed by the Arab militia groups, and 2 million have fled their villages to live in refugee camps that are almost entirely cut off from international aid.
