What type of job should i do?

When I get older I want to do a job that helps people, and I've been researching and the job I want the most is to do humanitarian work. I don't know if this sounds cheesey, but movies really inspire me and movies like Hotel Rwanda and the Constant Gardener are like the kinds of things I want to do. I was looking into the peace corps or red cross to help people that are starving or have HIV/AIDS. The only thing is, my skills lie in english and leadership. I'm not really sure what type of job I can do in the red cross/ peace corps because I thought I wanted to go into medicine, but I'm not really a science person. I'm more intullectual. Any suggestions? One job I thought I'd be good at is being a journalsit because I can write, but I don't see how that can help me in humanitarian work. All I know is that I've wanted to do this for a while, and then a speaker came to my school talking about her trip to Africa and her work there in an orpanange. Any idea on what to study in college?

Fund raising is always a good start if you think you can pull it off to get into non-profits.

Yes Africa's disease and economic problems are Americas Fault. We have held them down for years. I think white men should pay an extra tax to help Africa get on its feet.

I suggest becoming a teacher.

if you are an intellectual and are good analyzing situations and finding solutions you can always work in economic and community development. For that you need a master in economics.
