Do Christians know they are called to be Conservative and Liberal?

Christians have to be socially conservative and fight for a culture of life, that is against abortion, Euthanasia, embryonic stem-cell research, death penalty, In-vitro fertilization, divorce, unjust wars and other life issues.
Christians have to be liberal in economics and fight for social justice, the poor, the enviroment, healthcare, living wage for families, government aid for families, fair global market. oportunity for all people to work.

A true christians' beliefs are not represented by either the Democratic party and the Republican party.
Christians should be careful not to be partisan and have their beliefs erased for secular political ideology.

Christians are nowhere called to be communists. The closest thing you have is an individual church providing for the needs of their own. This is not calling for fiscal irresponsibility. :)

where in the bible does it say In-vitro fertilization is wrong
and i know for a fact the bible is for the death penalty.
Exodus 21:12 "He who strikes a man so that he dies shall surely be put to death."

That's nice. Reduce the entire political spectrum to conservative and liberal. 'Preciate that. Let's just forget that the political chart is a diamond shape, not just a straight line with conservative and liberal on each side. Don't forget us libertarians at one corner of the diamond chart. He didn't come to abolish the law, but to fulfill it. Nowhere does the bible state that the 10 commandments are no longer relative. They are as relative today as they were when they were written. Why do people presume christians have to be conservative? I am not conservative, except as far as abortion, totally against it. Have no problem with in-vitro, don't understand why anyone does. I also don't understand why the fact that I'm christian should automatically put me in a particular political position.

It's dangerous to use government in pursuit of religious goals, as history shows practically without exception. And on the subject, if you're going to use Christianity to support statism, that's just one more reason I'm glad to no longer be a Christian.
