Why does the US Know what's best for other countries? |
The atrocities of 911 were dramatic, but do your research on American foreign policy since WWII, and deaths caused by the US backing guerillas and witholding aid. Motivated self-interest. The US does what is perceived to be in the US national interests at any particular time. Every other country does the same, vis-vis their own national interests. That the US has the ability to project its power more than other nations just makes it easier for the US to meddle more effectively than others. Because other countries expect us to help them. We are the largest Super Power in the world. We help more countries thatn we hurt. we don't. the powers that be think they do. they also think they can get around us. hopefully, eventually, we will all come out of this much wiser. Because even with our problems, we treat our citizens better than other countries treat theirs. The US does what it has to,to protect itself. the US, or any super power for that matter (remember the US didnt start the White-Mans burden, rome, england, france, spain, japan...), knows that what is best for their coutry is what is best for other countries because when you have a system like what the US has over there the US govt can more easily influence theirs and better themselves. They don't. The U.S. should mind it's own business Because we RULE! :P Because we're nosy. Because we are the most powerful country in the world. Because U.S. is "big brother" and we have foreign responsibilities - we can't just sit idly by watching other countries suffer. The US doesn't know what's best for other countries, and our actions overseas frequently goes against one of the long time cornerstones of our foreign policy, which is the right of self-determination. Because we give them so much money. "He who pays the piper, calls the tune." why do muslims know what's best for all other religions??? The same reason that all those other countries think that they can dictate to the US. Maybe if we made other countries more like the US, we would have fewer people trying to immigrate here. They like our country.... so lets make their country like ours and they wouldn't have to move! |
