My efc(expected family contribution)?

I just checked the status of my FAFSA online, and it states that my efc is 000000. I have read through research online that 0 is a good number and that I am eligible for a full pell grant and other loans, etc.

HOWEVER.......I got a phone call from my college saying my tuition is due in 2 days (Wednesday). And my application says it was sent to be "verified".So in the mean time, will I be dropped from my classes if the fees are not paid before my financial aid is completely processed? Will I have to pay out of pocket until i get my financial aid?

Are you just starting college this semester? Usually you file in January/ Febuary to get aid for the following year= so you should have applied a long time ago.

Go to your financial aid office and see if they can do anything. Take your (or your parents) most recent tax return. You may have to pay up or wait for next fall to give your aid time to go through.

Also, did you put your college's name on the FAFSA? That way they get it.
