Applying for Masters in biology, how many schools should I apply to?

I am applying for a master's degree in biology/biological sciences. I'm already applying to Stanford, UIC, CSU Pomona and SUNY Buffalo. The most important criteria for me is the school is a good research institute, has a lot of diversity in the student body and preferably offers some form of financial aid to the grad students. I'm also an international student, so applying to so many schools is a bit taxing for me, financially. But I'm still very worried that I can't get into any of the schools. I have a 3.96 GPA, 1310 in GRE. Do you think I should apply to more schools? Any suggestions on other grad schools / research institutes I could apply to?
