What theme can i do within the brief of 'Transition'? |
the brief of my project is 'Transition' and i need to do something to do with changes. Hmm. A challenging piece. What about furniture that looks like one thing and then turns into something else? Old stuff includes library chairs which unfold into small ladders. Gateleg tables. There is a Japanese designer working in London (and, sorry, I've forgotten his name) who makes stuff for people who are space-challenged, and they unfold from small coffee tables into much larger things. Also, sofa-beds and beds that hide in cupboards. |
