Starvation in africa??

Can anyone answer these questions about Africa? I need to interview some people for my research report. If you answer please do it in complete sentences. thankyouuu =]

1. Is charity work helping Africa greatly?


2. Are they doing anything about the needs of clean water? If so what?


3. Is the problem of HIV/AIDS bigger than starvation?

sorry by they, i mean organizations and charities.

Are you talking about Sub-Saharan Africa?

What's wrong with them that they can't take care of themselves?

Why should anyone else take these issues on?

Why can't they stop fighting each other?

1.Yes and no Africa receives more aid than anyone else and in some cases it is working but it has taken billions in international aid.
2Who is they, some governments in Africa have done a good job with getting basic needs met others have not ,so it depends on where you are at (Africa is pretty d@# big) i guess those working on that would be USAID, Peace Corp , WFP and the UN and lots more different organizations from across the world.
3Yes because starvation is a lot easier to fix than AIDS.....

to what they are doing about clean water they drilling wells giving out bottled water(that does no good)thats all i can think of
