What are some good global issues to to a reseach paper on?

Something that has good resources. Nothing political, economic or envirnmental. something tht has to do with people like:


HIV/AIDS
Education
Famine
Etnic Cleansing


You don't have to suggest an all new idea. You can just pick which one is best out of these. This is for my global class so it can't have something majorly to do with the U.S. If you suggest one of these there has to be a specific country or region involved. Also it needs to be in the form of a question.

RELAX!- I am not trying to get you to do the work for me. I am gonna do the research and write all 5 pages alone. I just can't come u with a good topic. I need some inspiration.


Also I would prefer it have to do with Africa or Latin America because most people in my global class are gonna be doing Asia and Europe.

NOTHING ENVIRNMENTAL POLITICAL OR ECONOMIC. AND NOTHING TOO BROAD!

I think all of the topics are nice, i could giv u sum points for each topic-

1) HIV/AIDS- these people are feeling left out because no one wants to be with them just because they don't want to be "infected" OR today, hiv/aids is very common in poor countries because they recycle injections and razors etc. in medical hospitals and barber shops, which spread hiv/aids.

2) Education- education is a major problem in many countries. half, or more than half of a country's population is illiterate, except for countries which can really afford a good education OR there are several countries in this world like pakistan (i saw this on the news) where girls study more than boys. this is because boys are involved more in stuff like playing games.

3) Famine- in some poor countries where there are people who are not even having jobs, people sleep hungry everyday..

4) Ethnic cleansing- well,, i dunt know about dat!!

Maybe you should try Global Warming, it might make your teacher ask you alot about it and if you answered most of his/ her question you might have an A+.
