I have a social question?

i have this project for social class and i have to research a country in need of aid. i am doing sri lanka. i have to make a chart with 8 reasons why this country needs help with specific reasons. i have some ideas like........civil war, tsnami relief, environmental issues, unemployement etc etc etc....................but i have no clue what order to put them in. i know tons of you are going to say "DONT CHEAT ON YOUR HOMEWORK" but im just asking for help. :) thankss..

I'd say start with tsunami relief. The tsunami had a major affect on almost every topic. Because of the tsunami, environmental issues, unemployment, and poverty has increased so I'd say you start with that.

I think I've heard about child labor...that deserves the # 1 slot: if it's true in this country! Also the human slave trade is prevalent all tied to their unemployment I suppose.

humanitarian issues first eg food and shelter and medical assistance.rule of law and a stable society job creation.capital investment
second would be sustainable self reliance ,infrastructure ,roads communications etc
then other eg environment etc.

I would say put them in order on how much it affects the country and/or it's people. Like Civil War would be above Environmental Issues because the civil war would have a much bigger impact on human life and economics.

You can always use the alphabet. Or, you can chart the costs of each of those things to the government and chart them least impact to most impact. Or, you can list then by how much aid is received from each issue from the outside world. There's no real wrong or right way to do your listing. But, if you have a written report, to go along with it, you may want to do your text in the same order as you did your chart listing.

What do you think is most important? If the professor asked 'why you think this nation needs help' then he wants to know what you think is the most important problems the nation has. If that's no help look at the statistics of the rates of individuals involved in each category compared to other nations. If Child Labor has the highest rate than place it first.
