In Morocco, how's atmosphere of Aid al-Adha? ;)?

Hi, I'm jesicca who research about Moroccan(Islam) traditional feast that called Aid al-Adha in my college class.
I could know some details and origin by book and website, but I would like to hear information directry from human being. So, please tell me how people spend the time, for instance, woman do make up and dress up or entire town become lively and so on. Also, how do YOU spend the day?( I knew that they send celebration card and go to relative's house...Is this true?)

I'm glad if I could get any information about the feast.

To be free answer the question.
Thank you for your regard.

jesicca.

Eid al-Adha of the Feast of the Sacrifice is the most important of the Muslim calendar. It concludes the Pilgrimmage to Mecca. Eid al-Adha lasts for three days and commemorates Ibraham's (Abraham) willingness to obey God by sacrificing his son. Muslims believe the son to be Ishmael rather than Isaac as told in the Old Testament. Ishmael is considered the forefather of the Arabs. According to the Koran, Ibrahim was about to sacrifice his son when a voice from heaven stopped him and allowed him to sacrifice a ram instead.

The feast re-enacts Ibrahim's obedience by sacrificing a cow or ram. In Morocco, they kill/buy a sheep. The family eats about a third of the meal and donates the rest to the poor.

Moroccans celebrate by spending time with family and going to Mosque. After the Mosque they listen to music and dine together. It is centered around religion. I believe it is to take place on December 20, 2007 this year.

Most people go around to different family members homes even if they only stay for 15 minutes, drink one cup of tea and eat a few treats.
I don't know anyone who sends cards out here for anything let alone eid.
In the Agadir region there is a tradition of boujalood. Young teen boys take the hide from the slaughtered sheep or goat and actually fashion it to wear it (including around their head). The carry the feet and go around chasing the younger kids (all in good fun).
We go to the family home outside of town. All the aunts, uncles and cousins etc etc meet out there and spend about 3-4 days there.
