If you live in FL there could be thru Rehabilitation.
I was assisted years ago in Arkansas with a hearing aid via rehabilitation.
Around 3 years ago I was assisted while a residence of Florida.
Check with your state rehab. office.
If you had hospitalization insurance during the accident, some of them assist people.
If the accident wasn't your fault, possibly the insurance company for the other driver?

Yes, I got hearing aids through my state Vocational Rehabilitation center. You may have to fill out forms and get medical and financial approval for them. So call your local vocational rehabilitation office and get the information on how to get some hearing aids.
