US$500 billions to kill and destroy?

i asked a question as to whether it was a good idea to waste 500 billion dollars on illegal wars as opposed to spending this money on cracked US roads, eradicate homelssness from US cities, aid failing companies and provide financial resources for AIDS and cancer research, or perhaps feed some hungry people in Africa so that the rest of the world sees americans as a force of good will.

when will freemasons, those raised in freemasonic lodges, understand the value of freedom of speech - to have the right to hold different views and express opinions freely without fear and intimidation?

iran or any other country will not take Iraq's land, you did. And if they did (and they dint), is it your business to get it back to iraqis? if iraqis wanted you in iraq, they would not be fighting you.

I am sick and tired of the BS about the USA not getting involved in other countries problems. Wouldn't that be nice...than why do we spend so much on relief for disasters, and humanitarian needs? Why do our celebrities go to other countries to care for their children, when we have sick and dying right here at home?

Because we are a nation who cares and it applies to the military support as well as the relief and humanitarian support as well.

I think it is very hypocritical for liberals to want it one way for social programs and another for the military.

You know whats funny. This summer I watched this one "homeless" guy standing at the corner by WalMart. I drive by there 4 times a day and he was there from 5:00 am until 5:00 pm.

Well one day my curiosity got the better of me and I sat in a restaurant all day and watched him. The guy made a lot of money and at the end of the day, he walked over to the restaurant where I was sitting, got into his BMW 760 and drove away.

I stopped the next day to talk to him and he explained that he makes more standing on the corner for 12 hours a day than he ever did working. I asked how much and he told me that he averages about $700 a day just standing there.

The US has never been involved in an illegal war.

Thank you for asking the questions that the average american cannot answer. The reason they can't is b/c they still believe that God speaks to Dicktator Bush. They still believe that the mainstream news (here in the US) is telling them the truth. They still believe that Christianity is the only way to go, but in reality they are hypocrites. Seriously, some of the biggest hypocrites i've ever known were bible thumpers. They still believe that vaccinations help them. They still believe prescription drugs heal (science is NOT better than nature).
