does a man's circumcision status have any affect at all on his female partners sexuality.

please just be blunt and precise. I will not take offense. I'm doing this survey for my human sexuality graduate class. I have to write a paper on the reasons why we still circumcised and why it is much more common in the US. I already have all the hard fact info, aids rates, hpv and cervical cancer etc. I really just need personal opinions regarding womens and men's preference and how it feels different to the woman. If any man answering this has been circumcised later in life your opinion will be my pot of gold for this research. The reason i choose to use answers is because it is unbiased whereas all sites with like research on circumcision or either avidly pro or against circumcision. Thanks so much people

Hmm, in my own little "research" I found that it doesn't really depend on it at all. I guess natural one is better - gives me more to play with. But really, it's not the penis, not the size, not even that little patch of skin - it's the man that's attached to it on the other end that makes all the difference. Good luck with your research, I hope people aren't too harsh here. Wow, what a subject for a thesis! Seriously, people are way too uneducated about it...

Haven't you taken a research methods/ethics class in grad school? I highly doubt any "research" done like this in Yahoo!Answers will be seen as credible by any academic institution.

First, circumcision is far more common in some other countries, mainly muslim countries and parts of Africa. There is no evidence it makes any difference to female partners. The foreskin is retracted by erection, and it is often impossible to tell if an erect penis is or isn't circumcised.

When I chose to have my sons circumcised (1972 and 1981) at birth it was because I had always heard that when boys found out other boys weren't circumcised, they were looked down on and ridiculed by their classmates.

I've been married to one man who was not circumcised and am married to one who is partially circumcised. There is definitely a difference in oder and sanitation. The oder is unpleasant and offensive. The smell reminds me of seafood when it starts to turn bad. I figure it is the uric acid or bacteria or something in the urine that would be ventilated with circumcision. They both bath every day, but it doesn't take long for the oder to return. Anyway, having been with circumcised men when I was younger, I have to say I definitely prefer the cleanliness of circumcision.

My husband said his father chose to have him partially circumcised at birth because he thought circumcision blunted a man's sensations from over exposure to stimulation (clothing, intercourse). I have noticed unless he reaches full erection, the extra softness from the foreskin dulls my own sensations against my clitoris.

On the other hand, when fully erect both men are larger/longer than the circumcised men I've known, and that's certainly preferable.
