AIDS in Africa:where can i find good primary sources?

I'm doing a history research paper and I have chosen the topic of the AIDS epidemic in Africa. I found good government sources and some great books on the subject but I haven't been able to find any good primary sources concerning the topic...any suggestions?Databases?

Some African nations have good records and good research on HIV, others not so good. There are many good papers published in medical journals, but you would probably need to go to a university library to find them and copy them.
