Online research? |
i'm doing a research about "discrimination against gays due to the threat of AIDS" how can i find more information about this topic? I don't know where abouts but I can give you some info. Read my friend's book, "Epidemic of Courage". It illustrates what several AIDS victims went through as far as when they had to confront their conditions, along with how it affected relationships with family and friends. It's kind of an old book (mid-80's). Lon Nungesser was a college roommate of mine. He was also a victim of AIDS, and I believe he passed away in 1992. He wrote several books, and I would highly recommend this one to your attention. Because your topic is so specific, you're best bet is to see a Reference Librarian at an university or college library. The librarian will guide you in the right direction for doing research. There may be current attitudinal studies done on societies that place a stigma on a correlation between the gay population and the afflicted AIDS populations. If you follow the link below, I did some online research on your topic and compiled it in an organized manner for you... hope it helps... Let me know! |
