Conversion statistics for Islam to christianity rates show a massive increase in the past few years,Comments?

Ive been researching this and though Im having difficutly finding sources,it seems as if ,primarily due to evangelical ministries in africa and the middle east, a large number of muslims especially young people are becoming apostates. The sources I find say that the cause of this is because people associate the religion with government corruption and fighting.
In africa due to lack of any true islamic influence,the people there have gone astray and have been fighting for ridiculous things.The christian missionaries have gone there and been converting people on the promise of food and aid.
Has anyone any information on this topic? In your community /country are there people who are leaving islam? Do you think muslims should become more active/vocal in giving dawah ?

I went to Kenya with a "charity" organization a few years ago and distributed Bibles with food packages and watched Gikuyu speakers deliver sermons in the hopes of converting.

The state of many Islamic countries today, the reputation of Islam and the increase of Christian missionaries will probably play a major part in any "apostasy" - sad but true!

well that is the christian religions purpose, is that why they are placing churches in africa, because it is an islamic country and in the highest population of muslims, in indonesia. i could be taken aback by this, but since when do they put it on the internet about someone being baptized, well, i really dont want to break it to you, the media is a lies. in the end, everyone will know.

when anyone should help someone it shouldnt be out of religion it should be out of being human

this is the tactic of missionaries. they literally hand them a loaf of bread with one hand and a bible with the other. It is well known that Muslims are the number one target for missionaries around the world. There are organizations which recruit missionaries to work for example in the gulf (especially KSA) and they help them get jobs and they train them how to give dawah to Muslims. Of course poor people, due to their circumstances are more at risk which is why we as Muslims should be more pro-active to taking care of the less fortunate among us rather than allowing these people to do it.
