STRATEGIC BOMBING IN ww2?

ok so i completly ruined my other question so i thought id start again

im writin an essay about strategic bombing in europe during WW2 but ONLY from the U.S.'s bombings, not the british bombing some country, or aid from whatever other country. JUST the u.s.

so it's about how it affected it and the military planning and what the point of massive bombings are (Dresden) and all that

can some one start me off? like maybe with a good basis for a possible research question?

The massive bombing of Dresden was meant to demoralize the German people and possibly shorten the war. With a madman in charge, it didn't have the desired effect.
