Do you think it's true that Colloidal Silver can cure HIV/AIDS? Has the U.S. government researched this?

I don't think they've even considered Colloidal Silver .... however there are some studies that I've read that show an excess of it can be dangerous... but again That may just be some corporate propaganda. I know I beat Heart Disease with Fishoils, NO, Chelation, and Niacin... My cardiologist said that it was impossible... until he did a sonogram... I'm cured 100%.

There is no evidence whatsoever that anything called 'colloidal silver' cures anything, least of all Aids.

In fact, there have been many cases of moderate to severe medical HARM caused by the use of colloidal silver. Essentially, in high enough doses it is a toxin.

In August 1999, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) banned colloidal silver sellers from claiming any therapeutic value for the product, noting that such products were being marketed for numerous diseases without evidence of effectiveness. The FDA also banned over-the-counter sale of drug products containing colloidal silver due to the lack of safety or efficacy data. The product now has the status of a dietary supplement in the US; it can be promoted with general "structure-function" claims, but cannot be marketed as preventing or treating any illness. Following this ruling, the FDA has issued numerous warnings to Internet sites which have continued to promote colloidal silver as an antibiotic or for other medical purposes.

In 2002, the Australian Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) found that there were no legitimate medical uses for colloidal silver and no evidence to support its marketing claims. Given the associated safety risks, the TGA concluded that "efforts should be made to curb the illegal availability of colloidal silver products, which is a significant public health issue."

Scientists have studied all kids of things to cure this plague, but they have to have at least a small clue that it might work before spending millions on a testing program.

I think it's possibly a very damaging rumor...

However, there are specific ways in which our FDA is in the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies and refuse to tell us about all the easy, inexpensive home remedies that we can use to take care of minor problems.

But I would be wary of trusting the herb store's opinion when it comes to HIV.

A person could try Colloidal Silver and continue to have their blood-work monitored for changes - but they should avoid telling their doctor about the remedy because he is probably also in cahoots with the pharmaceutical company... If the numbers start looking bad, then go with what the doctor says instead - no harm done.

I don't know about colloidal silver, but there is evidence that BHT, a common food additive, can cure HIV. However, no big profit can be made from it because it is already approved as a food additive. Therefore, it will not receive the approval for its antiviral properties.

The health industry is all about profit. Don't let anyone fool you into thing it is about providing health care.

Colloidal silver has some serious side effects, like argyria (turning blue-grey color), seizures, kidney damage, indigestion, headaches, fatigue, and skin irritation.

Colloidal silver is very affective, but whether it can penetrate every location the virus is holding up is another issue.

I would not recommend taking too much you will turn blue literally.

Try mesosilver or something like that they are suppose to have the purest form, and they have had reviews from their clients of it killing hep C, etc

I doubt the findings point to a possible cure for Aids (using colloidal silver or it's agents as a cure for the disease).

Silver is toxic as are most heavy metals. Ingesting it would likely prove fatal.
