Teenage sex question?Getting Educated?

I have thought about having sex for a while now, taken quizzes(which I know is no real way to tell haha) , done my homework(researched) , and feel almost 100% sure.

I still have a few questions unanswered.

If you have sex with only a condom(male) and no birth control , will you deffinatly get pregnant?Like are the stakes that much higher?

If you and your partner both virgins , can you contract Aids/Hiv ?

what is the best time to have sex after your menstrual cycle NOT to get pregnant? Obviously not during ovulation. But what day( how many after your period has ended) is best to have sex and have A LOWER CHANCE OF GETTING PREGNANT?

Thanks

I'll just start by saying that sex is an adult act with adult consequences. Condoms are around 98% effective when used properly (which is rarely the case). If you're asking these questions and you're a teenager, it means you're probably not ready. But I commend you for at least taking the time to think about the consequences. Even with 98% effectiveness, I didn't have sex with my girlfriend until she started birth control. And aside from that, ask anyone you know who lost their virginity as teenagers whether they regret it. Most of them will tell you they wish they had waited, even if they thought they were ready at the time. There is so much more to life than sex, especially as a teenager. Wait until you are ready to deal with the adult consequences.

Thats what i condom is for, so nothing is contracted (HIV/AIDS) and also so it keeps out the sperm which in that case means no pregnancy.

Yes if your a virgin you can contract it. If one of your parents had it though is the only way you can.

Anytime when you are not ovulating is the least likely way to get pregnant, the best way is obviously when you are ovulating

just make sure you guys use the condom the right way. use a female condom so u can make sure it doesn't brake. there's a 1 percent u might get pregnant and that's why u should use atleast the pill and the condom.

what if he was born with hiv, the best way to be sure is by using a condom the right way.

Condoms are very effective when used right. I questiong why you said " will you deffinatly get pregnant?" If you truly have done your homework I would think you would know this is very untrue. People can be born with HIV however, its very unlikely if your both virgins. However use a condom. Ovulation cycles are different for lots of women. You can chart it at certain websites.

I find it hard to believe that you have really done your homework if you still have these questions. Maybe you really arnt ready.

not sure on everything but as long as the condoms dont rip and are not cheap your fine. the stakes are higher because if something weird goes wrong you dont hv backup but plently of ppl do it with just condom. and for Aids/Hiv you could get it through genetics but i beleive you both would know if you did or didnt so if you both dont then no

1. no you wont DEFINETLY. They are like 99 percent effective just make sure he "pulls out"
2. Yes you can but it is very unlikely
3. About a week after your done

BE CAREFUL AND MAKE SURE YOU REALLY LIKE The boy/girl

1. 80%-90% I would say.
2. I don't think so..How can you get HIV/Aids if both of you are virgin and clean.
3. Its NOT safe 1 week before and after menstrual.

Birth control pill would be a plus.

Condoms are very efficient, but not perfect. There is always a risk that they will fail. It doesn't automatically mean a pregnancy of course, but the risk is there. For instance, it's quite easy to rip the condom while you put it on, it's also possible that it breaks during intercourse (usually because it was badly put into place). Another important thing: when the guy gets out, he should hold the condom in place so that it does not stay in the vagina.

Practice first! (before any intercourse). Read instructions carefully, and try with spare condoms the putting/removing routines. Do it on your finger then a bottle. Then have him make several tries putting and removing it for real, until it is no longer awkward. Condoms have some lubricant over them and putting them on is not that obvious the first few times. Do that days before, don't try to improvise with this at the last moment, that would kill the mood.

Being virgin does not mean you can't have a STD like AIDS. For instance rubbing (or fingering) another person's genitals can be sufficient to contract a STD. It's quite unlikely in your case, but not impossible. Tat's why using a condom is a good idea anyway...

The calendar method is difficult to calculate and explain, I'll refer you to those pages, remember that it requires time (planification) beforehand:

A last advice: don't rush things. Before you do it, and while you do it... And do it in a safe quiet place, where you won't have your brother/parents/whatever come unexpectedly.
