Wen do the fist symptoms of aids occur?? |
and wat r they The symptoms of AIDS usually depend on the Strain of the Virus that you have. There are over 4 different suptypes, and over 20 different strains. The virus has been known to have what is called "Viral Sex." Some strains, depending on your health regimine and immune system, have been known to cause AIDS 20 years down the road. Others have killed less than a year after contracting the virus. I would go get tested and have a viral DNA test run to determine your strain and the best course of action. There are multiple symptoms and sometimes AIDS can be dormant for 10 + years. I would go to webmd.com and read up on symptoms. However, I would suggest going to the Dr. to have a test done. Timing is always different. You can have it for 10 years & not even know. Ask your doctor. Onset of AIDS is usually a CD4 count less than 200, as well as the presence of some oppurtunistic infections. HIV virus usally becomes active within 6 weeks to 6 months although you may not know you have it until you develop AIDS. You can request an HIV test from your primary care doctor to see if you in fact are HIV positive. sometimes you might not even experience no symptoms |
