Can you get aids if your partner was a virgin too?

my boyfriend asked me to check online for the symptoms of aids and so i checked and he seems to have everything. We both got the flu, but i honestly think it was the weather change and my feet touching the cold floor. Can it be possible that one of us can have aids? none of my family has ever had aids, none of his family has had aids either. We were both virgins.
Help please.

There are several risk factors for AIDS and HIV. If he had any behaviors other than sex, he could be at risk and I assume that you would be too as it sounds like you did not use a condom. IV drug use is the other main way HIV is transmitted. If only once he shared a needle with anyone he is at major risk. Barring something that drastic, you should be OK. Not everyone is honest though. Perhaps he has been with another partner. Kissing doesn't transmit HIV, so you are safe there. Any penetration counts as a means of transmission. That includes anal. You should be clear as to whether he has had any such relations. If you are old enough to have sex, you are old enough to talk honestly. HIV testing is impairative. Love your partner enough to get checked. Most likely it's the flu, but you never know.

It is highly unlikely unless you had a blood transfusion or had an open wound that somehow got someone elses bodily fluid in it.

You can get AIDS from having sex with an infected person which neither of you (being virgins) have done. It is also possible to get it if you had a blood transfusion but because of the rigid screening process for donated blood nowadays, it is highly unlikely. Another way to get AIDS is if your mother has the disease and then passed it on to you during childbirth. If your answer to all 3 is NO, then you probably don't have AIDS. Just the flu..

First, i want to say,take it easy! then, i can tell you there are mainly three ways of HIV transmission, mother-to-baby; sex and blood. you said all of your and his family are clear,so the first possibility doesn't exsit, and you're all virgins, so the second ,impossible two,so if you and him, don't have something with your blood. you can totally take it easy! ok?
