Tattoo danger, diseases?

Got a tattoo yesterday, and today I have a stomachache, feel slightly feverish, and have neck pains. Granted, I'm also hungover and took too many multivitamins and slept awkwardly, but I still am concerned about possibly being sick... the conditions of the tattoo appeared incredibly sterile and professional, but with all the stories about AIDS, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, tetanus, tuberculosis....I want to play it safe.

Do I wait it out to see if the symptoms go away? Do I go to the hospital? How worried should I be?

I would wait and see. You said the shop looked clean, so you shouldn't have anything to worry about. The stories you hear are generally when people go to dirty shops in the ghetto, get them done out of the country or go to places like Venice Beach.

If you have only just got the tattoo then the chances of any virus being in your system enough to make you sick already are very slim. But the main virus with tattoos his hep c but if the tattoo palour was immaculately clean and sterile then you should be fine.

I wouldn't go running to the dotors straight away i would give it at least another day or to to see how i feel.

It sounds like a combination of all ,making you feel sick. The hang over is probley the main reason for your stomach acke,you sould be watching for any kind of fever or sign of infection at the sight of the tattoo,you will have some irritation of course,you violated you body so it will fight back some,since it aint nateral to the body.But if you have any concern of possible infection,then seek medical treatment...
