infections such as gonhorrea and chlamydia are most common and are easily CURABLE with a dose of antibiotics, typically Azithromycin. your doctor may even prescribe you the antibiotic before geting test results back if after you have expressed your concerns he/she feels their may be a chance you might have something.
regular testing is the only way to be sure if you have no symptoms

usually there are no visable tell-tale signs of an std. if the have an unusual discharge or they smell funny "down there" then that could be a sign. some stds come without visable signs and symptoms, thats why u should always use condoms with strangers.
