My symptoms? Sound like I have Hepatitis or AIDS? Really scared..help...?

For almost a month I have been having muscle pains in my arms and legs. Then I started getting really bad nausea. Now it has escalated to nausea with a bitter taste in my mouth and burping.
I also feel ill.
I went to the hospital a few days ago and they said I had a high white blood cell count which means infection but that's all they told me and gave me anti biotics. I had sex with a guy a month ago and am scared I might have got something from him.
I have an appointment in a week and am wondering if that sounds like Hepatitis or AIDS to anyone?

It does not sound like either of those diseases. Good for you for getting to a doctor and having your blood tested. There are so many things it could be you need to get to the bottom of it so you can be treated and get better quickly. You may just have a simple virus, then your anxiety over this other stuff could be causing your stomach trouble. Please don't worry about the hepatitis or AIDS, non of your symptoms would lead to those as being suspect. You doctor will figure it out and you'll feel like your old self in no time. Stay safe!

It doesn't sound like AIDS because the symptoms from HIV infection don't show until two to three months after infection and tend to be flu like symptoms. (Although they don't always show).

I'm sure the doctors will let you know if it was though. Although considering they gave you antibiotics I don't think they don't think it is hepatitis since it is caused by a virus.

I have hep C and don't show any symptoms. I have it for over 2 years now. I only found out that I got it when I got tested for it when I went on MMT program.

No use fretting now because you will get your answer soon enough. In the meanwhile, you might want to call the guy and ask him whether he is completely healthy... and until you know what is going on with your body, don't be intimate with anyone else. (And even after you figure out what's going on, be careful.) Is it possible that you are pregnant?
