Is there any possibility to get any symptoms with in a day after getting exposed to AIDS?

i had sex with my girl friend.. the next day i found some red spots on the inside part of my penis... its a bit itchy.. its same like heat boils that normally we get on our neck region in summer season... so is it any infection due to sex.. or what is it? is it a symptom of AIDS?

If it were HIV, symptoms take about 6 weeks to appear. You may have fungal infection or something.

In the mean time, if you know your girlfriend does not have AIDS or not sure, sounds like to me that is herpes. Herpes have sores that look like that or some sort of infection causing an allergic reacion. Honestly it sounds like an STD. I would still go to the doctor and get it tested so you can be treated and given the right advice about testing for HIV if your that worried of getting it.

Most STDs would take more than a day to show up. AIDS would take years to show up. In fact, you can't "catch" AIDS. AIDS is a syndrome acquired from the virus HIV. You can catch HIV from sexual intercourse, oral sex, sharing needles (heroin users especially) etc. AIDS turns into HIV after time... some people can live their whole lives with HIV and still be "healthy" enough not to acqire AIDS.

Well he has HIV... but he's not sick yet, because his immune system is strong, he has money for good medicine, and he simple has not developed AIDS. You will be diagnosed with AIDS when your blood cell count reaches a set minimum, I'm not sure what the minimum is. OR if you're in Stage 4 of the HIV virus (you'll be REALLY sick) you'll be diagnosed with AIDS.

So remember, AIDS and HIV are not the same thing. And symptoms for HIV usually go undetected until months, even years.

Like I said, it takes most STDs longer to appear than just a day. I know herpes takes about 3+ days... but you never know. Get it checked, a free clinic or planned parenthood will do it for you.
