Blood clot symptoms...could it be a blood clot?

I woke up sunday morning with the top of my right thigh numb and tingly. It's now Tuesday mid day and it is still tingly and sore and has a weird sensation. Also yesterday morning the right side of my back was numb. I told my boyfriend about this and he thinks it sounds like a blood clot. I am on birth control and I took a sleep aid saturday night which I heard could increase my risk. He wants me to go into urgent care tonight but I want to know if this sounds like anything serious?

You can't tell for sure if it is a blood clot without an ultrasound. Especially since you are on the pill, you DEFINITELY should not take the chance.

Blood clots are very dangerous. If you have one, and it breaks free and starts to travel through your system, it can kill you almost instantly (if it goes to your heart) or give you a stroke and leave you permanently and possibly severely disabled.

Stop reading Y!A and get to your doctor right away. If you tell him or her that you are concerned that you may have a blood clot, he or she will have you come right in or send you to an emergency room. This is nothing to take a chance on.

gGo to the emergency room. A clot can travel to your heart and kill you. it sounds like one but they will have to do a sonogram to be sure. You never should of allowed this to come this long.
