Crazy STD situation...scared to death!!!?

Okay...I had sex with this guy. I'm gay and I know how STD's affect the gay community the most, so I decided to use a condom. We had sex twice in one day. After each sex act I put on a new condom and used plenty of lube because I didn't want the condoms to break. During the second time when we were having Anal the condom broke! I feel so stupid. Because I thought I did everything right. I feel like a complete idiot. I followed directions and thought that everything was done correctly but I was obviously wrong!

He didn't ejaculate in the condom at all. There wasn't even really any pre-ejaculate inside the condom. Nothing but lube on the outside of it.

This happened back in March. I have been PARANOID every since. I was okay until I went online and read the symptoms of common STD's. And that is when I started noticing them. I have been having anxiety for the longest time over this. I think that I am dying with AIDS or some type of Syphilis. I saw a small chancre sore near my tonsils and I have been freaking out. I also have been really nervous lately staying up at night and feeling tired. I went on YouTube and this lady was explaing the symptoms and that made me feel worse... I don't know what to do. I thought this stuff only happened to stupid people who don't protect them selves! How could I be so dumb. I have been crying and acting very odd lately. I have been distancing myselves from my friends. I thought that by using a condom I wouldn't have to worry about this? I am thinking I could have mono or something. Because mono shares some of the same symptoms as a STD. I have been experiencing more of the Mono symptoms than anything. I dry kissed the guy. That was all...

Please don't say mean things to me. I would appreciate it if everyone could keep the rude comments to them selves and not judge me. I feel crazy....

P.S. Have anyone of you ever had a BIG STD scare? My cousin told me everyone goes through this. I don't have multiple sex partners. And me and this guy only had sex ONCE. He was the only guy I had been with in almost two years. I try not to be a whore and be careful about things like this...And then it happens to me?

The only symptom I have is fatigue. I have been sleep lately. But, I have been up worrying about it for the longest. I found a white chancre sore on my tonsil. And have been feeling sick a little. I have been having anxiety and can't stop thinking about rather or not I am going to die in the next ten years or so....

You'll be fine. Go get tested and get it over with...you'll feel much better once you're sure of what's happening.

Yes, everyone goes through at least one major scare...and some of us more hard-headed folks go through several. It's good to be scared though, it puts things in perspective and reminds you of how fragile the life you live is.

Calm down, you are not dying of AIDS. Using protection isn't 100% safe, so just get tested for all the STDs and then get tested for HIV again in six months.

Ok. So your afraid of getting an STD becuase your condom broke right. Well all I can say is get yourself tested for everything. You can never be to safe.
