Which way is the best way to go?

I'm at a stump in the road. I was going to go to school for cosmetology but its not looking so good, i didn't recieve financial aid because of income but i could get a grant which i would have to pay back 6 months after i'm working. Here in Illinois it is not that hard to find a job as a hairsylist. i'm just at a stump because we are needing to get another car and it would help if i had a job now. I have thought about going and working at walgreens and become a pharmacy tech. I was wondering if i should just go to school for it and then while in school work in the pharmacy or is it just as good if i get the training at walgreens and then take the test. What is the difference in an associates in pharm tech and just getting the training from a pharmacy? Should i start out working in the pharmacy getting the training and if i like it go onto school for more education in it to make better money?

There's too many questions in here and it's confusing. You sound confused yourself. Loans have to be paid back. Grants are money that does not have to be paid back.
