I want to become a Zoologist and attend Sante Fe Community College in Florida...Tips? |
I am 19 years old with no previous college classes. I knw that I need preliminary math and English to get to at least college level algebra, but I took the placement test and am already at the college writing level, anyway, I need Financial aids to afford the schooling and want advice for how best to get into this really great college program. What kind of volunteer work and so on can I do for my resume? Right now I am working full time at petsmart. I like this school in particular because Jack Hannah did a show on it and it has a teaching zoo on campus. For the idiot who answered about attending a "real" school and a "real" program, the teaching zoo at Santa Fe CC is the best in the NATION...do your research before you try to make someone feel inadequate for attending a CC...and by the way...a degree from Santa Fe CC will get you into the best VET program in the Nation at University of Florida...so if you want to attend the teaching zoo, I say go for it and continue on at UF... If your only aspirations are to attend a community college, then you will have no problem getting in right now, so go for it. If you want to get into a "real" school and a real program, you need to do a little research. See what they are looking for and cater your application (more specifically your personal statement/essay) to what they want. Also, get wherever you are volunteering or working, have someone write you a good recommendation. Good luck. |

well i read the first 5 paragraphs and it was way good... its way to long for me to read though lol ...I think Marilyn needs fired, and sent back to audiology school.
