I'm Having A Little Problem?

Me and my bf have been together for 4 years and when we have sex I have him "wrap it up". Well last night he asked me do we really have to do this any more and I really couldn't answer that. I can tell every time that I make him "wrap it up" that he gets upset. I love and care about him but this is a issue that i'm having plus I want to keep things safe.

side note: we are both std & aids free. We get tested every 2-3 months. This is a requirement I have when i'm in a relationship. ;)

So my question is... should I do this one time for him without making him wrap it up (tonight)?

we are both faithful to eachother. It's just that i've heard about alot of gay men getting HIV that i'm scared/paranoid. I'm only 22 so I have a long life ahead of me (I think) ;)

I agree with other people here that you must realize what we all have to live with. I admire the both of you for getting tested so often, but unfortunately tests aren't foolproof. In the times we live in, one mistake can kill you. You and your boyfriend are still so young, and you got together when you were even younger. Can you really tell yourselves that it's worth it to risk a serious disease or your life to have sex with someone you may not be with in a another few years?

You should have a conversation about this when you're well away from sextime. If he isn't feeling what he wants to feel, maybe you should try different condoms, a different lube, etc. Actually the tighter the condom (Durex Snugger Fit is a good example) the better, especially if you use lube inside it. And there shouldn't be any safety concerns about the condom breaking if everything is done right.

Maybe you should both do some more reading and viewing of, um, instructional material. That might make things more interesting and stimulating! You could even try tantra....

I am heterosexual. However, regardless of what sexuality you are, you should ALWAYS be safe. He can be carrying a disease and not even know it (HPV for example). Keeping this in mind, if you are in a monogamous relationship, and you both have been fully screened for std's, I don't necessarily see anything wrong with going bareback. You had better be damned sure he hasn't been with anyone else within the past year, though, and you also had better be comfortable with the fact that there aren't really any tests for HPV. If you do decide to go raw, be prepared to accept the fact that there is a risk of disease.

You love him, true, but you don't know if he's been faithful. I don't know anything about either of you and I'm not passing judgement. I'm a lesbian (so I'm not saying gay men are promiscuous). I'm just saying, incase he cheated on you, or the other way around... isn't it better to be safe than sorry?

It's just a thin sheath of latex between the two of you. Do you want to compromise your personal standards?
