I am a Junior and receieved a 20 on my ACT which is my 2nd time taking. Will I be able to raise it to a 26?

Has anyone been able to raise their score by 6 points? What are some aids that I can use? I have a 4.0 GPA im just not good at taking standardized test. Please Helpp...:)

I got a 26 my first time taking it w/o any prepping/studying and I'm hoping to raise it to at least a 30 my next time, so that's like 5 points. So I'm hoping it's possible too...

Assuming that you never prepped before you took it and you practice with a prep book this time, I believe it's possible.

But I question how you can have a 4.0 gpa and get a 20; the average score is a 21....

I don't even have a 4.0 gpa.

I've taken the test four times, each time increasing my score. I got a 24, then a 25, then a 26, and finally a 31 on the April test. Time management had always been my problem, and I finally overcame that this year. So, my advice is to go quickly and then go back and check your answers if you have time. Don't dwell on a single question and have to completely randomize the last 2 columns of a section.

Hehe, besides cheating. There is one way that might help that always enters my mine besides studying like mad. Chewing gum during the test. It's proven to increase test scores.

As for cheating, I don't want to start a spark in cheaters so, I suggest you send me an email if you are really desperate to know it.
