ever since my daughter was born shes had a hearing difficulty which has lead to her to have grommets and hearing aids. she doesnt talk much just says dad dora mum she never looks at us like shes in a world of her own she pushes you away if you go near her,even if someone pops there head in the buggy she starts to moan pushing them away and having a paddy if they dont when her cousins come round to play she just sits in the corner by herself playing if anyone goes near her she pushes them away and runs to the otherside of the room she always seems to stay in the same spot nearly all day i can take toys to her and try to play but she puts them back were i got them from or throws them , then runs back in the corner at night she sits there rocking in her cot laughing at herself some nights it goes on for hours she does go to see the doctor every 2-3 months to have hearing tests done he has noticed that she does not like looking at people and wants to check her again soon are thesethesign Because of her hearing issues I would see a neurologist. A neurologist is a brain specialist and since the auditory system is in the brain then there is a good chance that something else is up. Also explore going to an optamologist (eyes).
