if for example: a person A have AIDS and make sex with a person B without condom,its any posibility to don t take the person B the virus???i know a situation like that but i don t know if its really true! I n the place i work before,one guy was send in his country bec.they find him with AIDS. they send his girlfriend also but the girl came back after 1 year bec.she said cos she make the test in her country and she its negative.can be true??

It could be possible, however, she needs to get tested again. In many countries, the test results cannot be trusted, esp for something like HIV. To truly be found negative, she would need several tests, several months apart. They should the more extensive test like the ELISA, and Western Blot, not just the quick screen test.

If she had the ELISA test and it was confirmed through Western Blot, then she's probably negative. In some countries, there are other serologic tests used for confirmation such as IFA HIVAGEN RIA and RIPA.

These tests are much more specific than the ELISA and elicit very few false-positive results. They're also more expensive to administer making them less desirable for screening purposes.

You would have to know which test she completed to know for sure.
