TTC ! 9 Negative Preg Test ! Please Listen to my story and help !? |
Me and my husband just got married a month ago, and we wanted to start to try for our first child. My last period was april 16th. We got married may 10th, and had sex may 11th, it was the only time we had sex because soon after there was a death in our family which was hard on us, so we haven't tired since because of the family issues. Anyways Im not sure when I should have started my period, but Im guessing Im around 3 weeks late. I took 8 first response preg test over the course of 2 weeks and all VERY NEGATIVE. Just to be sure again, I woke up at 6am, and drove to rite aid and brought the clear blue digital test package and it came up "not pregnant" ! I was hoping that it would say "pregnant" and I know how all you ttc girls know how it feels. I been under alot of stress with wanting to be pregnant and the family death. Me and my husband are praying the test are wrong, but this would be my 9th test. Do you think 9 preg test can be wrong ? Even the one I took this morning !? if you're stress you probably won't conceive. Try to be stress free and don't worry about a baby right now, enjoy being a newly wed wife. Spend some money on yourself, go shopping, but something nice like lingerie and get your mind off everything and see what happens I'm sorry to say this, but you are definitely not pregnant. Home tests are very reliable, especially when taken so long after a missed period. I think it's probably due to stress that your period is delayed. Also, you had sex far too late in your cycle to get pregnant. With the stress of a death in your family and your marriage, you could potentially have a delayed period due to stress. I'm sure your body will get back to normal soon. Good luck to you. i have read your story and i too do not think you are pregnant. i think it is the stress that has thrown things a little out in your body. i feel pregnant very late in my cycle about day 25. good luck xx I hate to say it, but it sounds doubtful you are pregnant. Tests can often be wrong if you test too early, but if your 3 weeks late I would have though they would have certainly picked it up. Were you on birth control prior to getting married? If so, that might have an impact on why you are so late this month. It does not sound as though you are pregnant, and after 2 weeks without a period, a test woudl likely pick up on your hormone levels. I know I've been TTC for several months, and my GP told us that stress played a huge factor in the process - you can do everything right, but if you are stressed out, it may just not happen. I'm sorry - I know how disappointing it can be. |
