Genital herps and AIDS?

i had a unprotected sex with my partner about 9 months ago and he had herps on lips and because of that i was infected with genital herps. it never came back again since then ,and after two months i got my blood test with negative result for AIDS. does the genital herps being infected cause of herps on lips necessarily lead to AIDS?? should i sit for another test again noe after 9months?i was told that it may come back after few weeks or months. but never yet. will it be back again lateR?

No, AIDS and genital herpes are two different diseases, you cannot develop AIDS from having genital herpes, you develop AIDS from contracting the HIV virus from someone who is infected with it.

You should also do some research on genital herpes if you have contracted that as you said, because you said you were infected with genital herpes and it never came back again, but I just want to make sure that you realize that even if you aren't seeing an outbreak, you will have this disease forever, as there is no cure for it. You should make sure you know how to properly deal with it.

No, two different diseases. Having herpes just makes it easy for you to catch HIV/AIDS only and only if you have unprotected sex with someone who has HIV/AIDS.

Genital herpes and HIV/AIDS are two separate viruses, if you have herpes you are not necessarily going to get HIV.

Herpes doesn't lead to AIDS honey. But I would get treatment to keep it under control.
