Im a failure....i need to get back on track....please help?

im 22 and im going into my last semester of college, im a very smart girl. i have gotten A's on tests and a lot of times i do not attend class. basically i know my stuff, but i just dont have any ambition to do the work....i lost my scholarship and im on financial aid probation( i have a 2.3 gpa). im probably never going to attend grad school and im just going to have a sucky life. i mean idk know if im going to even finish up my last semester bc i dont have the money to pay for it. so what can i do to get myself back on track?

From personal experience when you lose ambition, you're better off just taking an extended break if possible. Maybe not having money for it is the best thing considering you don't really feel like being there in the first place. Nothing turns out good if you don't have desire for it. Maybe spend time with people who make you happy and find something that gives you that spark again. It might take a month, a year, two years...take however long it takes for you to feel driven to do something. Just surround yourself with positive people and things till you feel the confidence again. Don't let your emotional wellbeing fall second to your education. It's really not THAT important you go to school right now...you have your life to do that. Maybe you need to work a little job and grow mentally before you embark on something too big for you to chew on right now.

Find a way to pay, even if you have to take out a loan.

You don't NEED grad school, you can do that when that necessitates.

P.S. Having a degree doesn't equal having a sucky life. Picture not having a college degree, or even a high-school degree. There are plenty of people without either and they get by fine.

Get your degree, get a real job, start paying off loans etc... you will be fine. When you get a handle on things you can even go for grad school if you want!

P.S. it sounds like you are kind of burned out... just finish off the last year and then with no school, you will probably have a lot of stress off your shoulders... (then comes the stress of having a job, hehehe)

Motivation is from your reason to live or lack thereof. I used to live to please myself and when I did I felt like life was meaningless. However when I gave my life to God to do His service He has given me meaning and purpose. Just ask God to take control of your life and you will never regret it.

think of it like this. you have ONE semster left. its better to punch through one semester than to quit and throw away all youve done thus far.

you will have to work, find a job

First of all you are not a failure, don't be so rough on your self plenty of people drop out of high school, and many never attend college. So give your self a pat on the back for getting this far. We all fall short in our lives at some point, if you need money for college, there are a few ways Americorps.gov gives a $5000.00 a year or a $2500.00 cash at the end of your contract, it is a volunteer commitment they also give you a stipend. Since you may be young with no children, Have you ever considerd Taking this year off and going to Peace Corps they offer $10,000.00 and a salary while you in the country. I also believe once you get back to the states they help with scholarships as well. There is also ones that you don't have to stay as long, some are only 2 weeks long, and pay $1500.00 but I lost those contacts, but once you goggle these other programs, I am sure they will come up as well also we in the U.S.A. have the U.S.A. Peace Corps or similar name.
