I'm a failure....i have no discipline and i want to give up? |
im 22 and im going into my last semester of college, im a very smart girl. i have gotten A's on tests and a lot of times i do not attend class. basically i know my stuff, but i just dont have any ambition to do the work....i lost my scholarship and im on financial aid probation( i have a 2.3 gpa). im probably never going to attend grad school and im just going to have a sucky life. i mean idk know if im going to even finish up my last semester bc i dont have the money to pay for it. so what can i do to get myself back on track? dude you are so smart, why are you doing this to yourself..... i mean there are loads of people out there that would kill to get A's on tests without studying!!!!! what you need to do is FOCUS!!!!!! plan a schedule for yourself. thats what i do. i know its hard your like this work is so dumb it doesnt mean anything and it doesnt matter. the truth however is that it really does matter. focus on the material given to you. form study groups that way you stay on tract but you also can receive the help that you may need and or give people so help. offer assistance with certain courses for those people who need it-you'll find that not only does it ingrain material into your head but it helps out others who may need help. if that doesnt work go get professional help. ask them how you can get your life on tract!!! good luck:) Have your thyroid checked, and if your GP doesn't find anything wrong have it checked again by a capable endocrinologist. Sometimes there can be a subtle talk to your counselor they can probably give you better advice then I ever could. Don't give up, especially not now that it's almost over. You can still make it. You sound like you may be a little depressed. You need to see what the school has available as far as counciling. You may need to talk to someone to help you find some direction. We only put effort into things that really matter to us. By the sounds of it, your heart is not in to college right now. Why don't you put your academic life on hold for a couple of years, explore other areas of interest, and in the future, if you want to go back no problem. If you don't want to go back, it will probably because you found something you are more interested in. I quit school when I was 20. I had a lot of fun traveling the world, living in different places and meeting new people. At 37 I decided I was ready for school. I got my undergrad degree psychology and am finishing up my masters. I would have never known what my passion was if I had just stuck in school when I was in my early twenties. You don't sound very smart to me. You cut class and end up with a 2.3 gpa. Whats so smart about that? I think you are lazy and selfish. Seems you want to throw away your life instead of using the brain that God gave you to finish and live a productive life. Selfish? Because you used scholarship monies that someone that could and would have used wisely had to do without. You robbed them just to become a drop out. Suck it up and get busy. Get a job and finish what you have started. Be somebody, make something of yourself. You are 22. You are supposed to be an adult. Stop wining like some little kid and grow up. You can do it if you put your mind to it. I guess your question can be summarised as "Help why am I going wrong when I know that I am being self destructive?" |

From personal experience when you lose ambition, you're better off just taking an extended break if possible. Maybe not having money for it is the best thing considering you don't really ... 2-3 days by computer, 2-3 weeks by mail. ...WOW, these are a lot of bad and illegal things. Some of these things are not illegal, but some are. It would take a lot of work to get something done about this. But to answer your question, it... No. Well, I do think it should be mandatory for any pregnant woman but otherwise no. It is impossible to regulate and not to mention costly. What would be the purpose? So that everyone is guara... i think there should be yes, i think everyone that is sexually active regardless of age should be tested at least yearly. i think there are alot of people carrying the virus but they don't kno... They only run the tests that the doctor has ordered. If you (or your doctor) haven't requested an HIV test, they won't be looking for it. ...Well, a blood test and an AIDS test isn't necessarily the same thing. States have required blood tests before marriage for decades, and in the old days it was to make sure people weren't ... I wish I could agree with you. I do, on so many points. I admit that I am resentful of those people who take advantage of the system. I also admit to being bitter about how much taxes they take ... |
