Any tips on taking dogs on vacation?? |
So, next week Im taking my two dogs with me on vacation with my family. My mom and I took them to the vet a week ago and got them both microchipped, and got them tested for heartworm (they both didnt have it). I have bought two crates. My dogs LOVE going on car rides, and we always drive them around for a little bit. They dont really get car sick, sometimes they lie down and sleep if we drive for quite a while. sounds like you thought of a lot already. Good planning. the only thing I can think of is doggy bags to pick up their poo. You sound very prepared, good for you! Do your dogs get car sick? If they do, get something for that. You might also want to give the hotel receptionist your cell number in case you leave the hotel and your dogs start barking too much. we take food toys leashes and things like that. we go on 12 hour trips 2-3 times a year to visit home in Michigan(we are currentlly in North Carolina). Makes ure they have a comfy place to sleep as our dogs sleep alot during the trip! more than enough, you are wellll prepared i took my 2 big dogs on a 4 day road trip and all we brought was leashes, water, water/food bowls, and food. o and some chew bones! Definately take the dogs on a little trip to see how they do on a longer car ride. If they are really stressed you may want to consider a sedative. Benadryl is the safest to use, as there are no complications or contraindications to using. Your vet should be able to give you a dose. Are your dogs crate trained? If not then you should leave them in their crates and see how they do. If they are not at leat somewhat used to being in the crates, it may not be worth while to take them because if they are just going to bark the whole time and that could be a problem in the hotel. Be sure to look up some emergency animal hospitals in the area you are staying befor you go. That way should something arise you will be prepared. |

dude you are so smart, why are you doing this to yourself..... i mean there are loads of people out there that would kill to get A's on tests without studying!!!!! what you need to do is FOCUS... From personal experience when you lose ambition, you're better off just taking an extended break if possible. Maybe not having money for it is the best thing considering you don't really ... 2-3 days by computer, 2-3 weeks by mail. ...WOW, these are a lot of bad and illegal things. Some of these things are not illegal, but some are. It would take a lot of work to get something done about this. But to answer your question, it... No. Well, I do think it should be mandatory for any pregnant woman but otherwise no. It is impossible to regulate and not to mention costly. What would be the purpose? So that everyone is guara... i think there should be yes, i think everyone that is sexually active regardless of age should be tested at least yearly. i think there are alot of people carrying the virus but they don't kno... They only run the tests that the doctor has ordered. If you (or your doctor) haven't requested an HIV test, they won't be looking for it. ...Well, a blood test and an AIDS test isn't necessarily the same thing. States have required blood tests before marriage for decades, and in the old days it was to make sure people weren't ... |
