Slight Jail broken iPod Touch Issue?

hello all, after jailbreaking my iPod and installing different apps, i have a small issue. the other day, i saw an app that i felt as though it would be cool (sketches). i attempted this for the first time, and after trying to download, it got to the point where it said "installing application" and then, it froze momentarily and went back to the home screen. then for the first time, i tried installing a test app, in this case the first one that i saw which is kate, and that one froze as well. so now i am stuck with a non-working app installer and unable to install any apps. i truly do not want to restore and re-jailbreak my iPod again as half of my music tracks are not found...*cough* (Limewire) *cough*. anyhow, if you could aid me here i would be most appreciative.

The only thing I can think of is if you still have the download for sketches in your cache, you should make sure your download cache is clear and then try again after refreshing your sources. If you need to know how to clear your cache email me. I don't remember the name of the app, but there is one out there that backs up all your apps and other info so that if something goes wrong you can get it back exactly the way it was. If none of this works you'll have to restore.
